this song is probably more relevant in Europe than it is here because the songs about a suicide bomber and those have happened allot there, as opposed to America were one of our biggest issues is religion which is why the song "i donty know"

I completely agree with you here...the choice for this single is a bit weak considering the amazing tracks on this album. Personally, I would have gone with "Mourning this Morning". As for the cutting on "Information", I was completely taken back as I prepared myself for this video. I looked at the length before even hitting play, and saw 4min compared to 5:45. I understand your position on this, and am sure that's what happened, that it was done for marketing purposes, but shit, the real fans want the real music! I'm gonna get it too, in less than 24 hours...8/5/09 in Detroit, MI! All hail dredg.

and PPD and the song were on the top 100 music charts fora week starting at spot 74 and ending on spot 96
Does anybody find it interesting that Dredg decided to make “Information” their first single from P.P.D. (The Pariah, The Parrot, The Delusion)?
Now, I am a fan of the song and the video itself, but are there not better songs on P.P.D to make their first single, especially for a possible first time listener?
Also, does anyone find it interesting that for the “Information” video, the whole entire bridge (or whatever you want to call the middle breakdown part of the song) was cut out? It was probably done for the radio too (even though you never hear Dredg on the radio in the east coast)…
I understand why editing a song needs to be done for certain mainstream media marketing purposes, but in today’s world wide web playing field, couldn’t Dredg have made a full video version for the Albums-version of the song as well as a radio-edited / MTV-edited version?
If you were the manager of such decisions for Dredg, what would you have pushed for a single and would you have had them create a full length video of the Albums-version of “Information.”
